On to Naxos

Leaving Santorini on a SeaJet high speed ferry. The switchbacks you see on the steep hillside is the road from the port up to Thira at the top of the ridge.

Naxos is the largest and greenest of the Cyclades. There is a strong agricultural base (potatoes, olives, citron, grapes) and several towns and villages that we’ll visit starting tomorrow.

Here are a few images of the ferry ride from Santorini to Naxos and our house for the next few days, Iliana By The Sea.
