Ry Cooder is often considered the first person to record this song, but it was originally written and released by The Invincibles in 1966. This cover takes elements from those recordings as well as Joey Landredth’s version, except for the high falsetto from all versions, which I don’t have. Listening with headphones brings out some nice harmonics…
