We chose to stay in B&Bs wherever possible. (Ronda was the exception.) We hoped that having a personal connection would give us access to information and suggestions that were out of the way or had local flavor. Bags are packed. Euros gathered. Train tickets and passes to Alhambra printed. Leaving early Wednesday morning for an 18-hour flight to Madrid followed by a three hour high-speed rail trip to Sevilla where we’ll be for four days. The Itinerary post (see Previous Posts) has been updated with travel dates. Throw any suggestions for activities our way, and watch this space for images and commentary.

OK. Travel starts in a couple of weeks. Found my European outlet adapters. Have all of Rick Steve’s books on my iPad. Registered with Smart Traveler (STEP) and told my credit card company when we’d be traveling. Been refreshing my Spanish with Duolingo. What am I missing?
